wow, what a hot humid uncomfortable day it was - I set out to do macros, but macros of flowers in harsh light is not really ideal - so of course, when I have a macro lens attached to my camera at the end of the day, where light is less than minimal, what happens to fly on a branch in front of me - I could not believe it, a Great Blue Heron - so I did the best I could with the equipment I had - settings were: speed: 1/100s @ f/4.5 at 100.0mm, iso 320 , Exposure Bias-1, Metering Mode: center weighted, aperture priority, Focus Distance: 8.26 m - MACRO LENS CANON 100MM F2.8
